The DT competition® spoke is made strong through a double butting process, strengthening the spoke and making it perfect for many applications. The 1.8 mm version for example is suited for light road wheel builds or cross country MTB use. The balanced relation between strength and weight of its 2.0 mm counterpart allows for a wide range of uses, from reliable on-road wheels to super light enduro MTB wheels.
